tradition dictates paper as a gift for a 1st anniversary. the citizenry of Massachusetts gave the president such a humiliating defeat you cd call it a paper cut. except this one may bleed much longer than most.

one year isn't enuf time to reset the country after the terrible 8 of the previous regime. but I understand the frustration so many feel. we all expectd Obama to perform miracles & he hasn't.

I don't know where the country is going but this recent shift of the electorate back to the right is disturbing. part of the problem is the left seems to have lost its balls as well as attractive candidates.

Hey Alex...recognize and agree with your take on Mass election. I am more confused then afraid of near future. I think the left lost a generation or two of support somewhere. All of which will be blown away here in Kansas when Sammie (The Bull) Brownback gets elected gov next year. Just call it Kansasastan - no taxes, no public schools, everyone gets a gun to carry, death penelty back and you women cover up now!!!! Aghhhh.

This morning I wondered what my old Sonoma County friend Paul Mariah would have made of all this 'tea party' stuff. Ha.

you hit it right on the head Alex, I hope that the dems. wake up. Why the hell did they pick this terrible woman to run. Surely there were better women in the state that could have run, and done a good job campaigning. Hopefully we won't be hearing again from Cokley or whatever the fuck her name is. Obama needs more heat, more fire. Man this country is starting to get scary again. So lets see what pretty boy can do in two years, I guarantee he will fuck up. And New Jersey enjoy having that fat slob for governor, he too will go down in flames.
