That's a neat picture. It looks like his bus and some luggage are in the background. Do you recall who he was traveling with? I assume you caught him while he was touring? Maybe heard him perform live? Many questions, I realize!
Ravinia is a park outside Chicago which for more than a century has been offering concerts by some of the world's greatest musicians.
that summer a half century ago I was in the high school journalism clinic at Northwestern. we went to Ravinia to hear Armstrong. I even got his autograph on the program.
