shocking

the video of the young girl murderd in the streets of Persia by the ayatollah's henchmen brings back those distant memories of my campus when the National Guard massacrd students.

it can happen anywhere.

fascinating to compare the caution of CNN with the immediacy of the net. for the 1st time tv seems antique.

actually there were several days & nites of confrontation at Kent before the guardsmen fired on students. we lost 4 while the number in Tehran today is somewhere betweeen 20 & 40. but the You Tube images are so close to my memories of our fallen. I can almost smell the teargas again.

in Iran I'm surprisd to see the role women are taking. after being held down for decades by those disgusting mullahs they've found their voice.

i am struck by your post earlier on how the net has changed the tools of revolution. i agree that the net makes tv antiquated. i just looked at some video at youtube where a young girl was shot and on the street. the horror, really the fucking horror. . .
