I can't get used to the intelligence present at the podium. I had allowed myself to forget that a thinking person might actually occupy the post (or the post-elect).
But why were those economic advisors just standing there behind Obama?
I think the advisers were there for gravitas. it's all a part of the stagecraft that Team Obama knows so well. we're in for a show.
he looked tired and worn out already. But yes the intelligence, humor, grace & style amazing.
BTW one of those standing behind him was Mayor Villaraigosa who I saw here just days ago.
