You can't imagine the effect of this warm, sun-lit photo. Here in the northeast it is tremendously cold right now. I am obsessing over a stray cat I have been feeding this fall who is surely freezing in the below-30 (F) temps. But she is feral and can't be accomodated. My geraniums froze.

There are so many things in your photo that give pleasure. The wonderful cat statue, the harmony of the blue chair in the painting and blue door paint.

And that bright, warm southwestern sun. Ahhhhh ...

that statue is by Courage Nyanhongo the then 10 y/o son of famous Zimbabwean sculptor Gideon Nyanhongo. I believe it's the 1st piece he ever sold.
