fans of "Brokeback Mountain" collected $16000 in 48 hours to run this ad in today's Daily Variety.

wow that is really amazing. it has to be a first. My own ad would have been a little less polite, but what a terrific thing. Hope all the homophobes including the brain dead Tony Curtis saw it. His daughter should put him over her knee and spank his old ass. And to think that he's in two of my fav. films of all time.

well Ira Joel it wasn't just the fossils were were anti-BBM. yr beloved Spielberg was happy that "Crash" won. but then we disagree abt him. I think he's the most overrated director of the past 20 years.
