I know that watching your father's decline is extremely difficult for you, but he is actually doing better than I thought he was. I pictured bedridden with tubes and wires. From one gardener to the other, tell him "Keep diggin'!"
he has his good times & his bad times. but the garden -- with some help from friends -- looks good. I brought back a gorgeous cucumber & some basil.I return in 6 weeks for Mom's 85th.
