The Avalanche of Time I happend across a copy being sold on eBay for $3.21. ouch. so I checkd Alibris & there it was $3.16. double ouch. finally I went to Abe & was happy to see a copy being offerd for $40. but that only because it was from Paul Metcalf's library.

You should buy the cheap copy, and then there will only be the 40.00 one available. (spoken as a true bookdealer)
For what it's worth there is also a copy of yr Yearbook on sale at ebay for $25.
