just got whackd by a bag of poems. yup. a brown paper bag. inside a book calld "imaginary foxholes." the tough poems are by John Dorsey. they are presentd with beauty by Rusty Truck Press. the entire experience is sublime. the die cut on the front cover is a foxhole. the reader jumps in it. he finds poems with punch side by side with disturbing drawings by Janne Karlsson. the printing & choice of paper & color even the stitching. it all comes together in one of the finest productions in many a year.
