soon smiling Senator McGovern marched up Fifth Ave.
waving to the indifferent crowd while young people
followed him in the street chanting "stop the war"
& a month later:
marked X for McGovern

after writing the above I rememberd I had a souvenir from the time I saw McGovern. it took me a while to unearth it but here's the flyer I've had for 40 years now.
