more Doris Day

I'm delightd that she's allowing herself a public persona again. she sounds wonderful.

Me too!
She profoundly underrated as an actor & seemingly forgotten as a vocalist. She was first rate & original at both. I have marked her site as a favorite.
She is much loved in this household. including 2 canines.
Have youy ever met her?

unfortunately I never met her. a few years ago I walkd thru her pet-friendly hotel Cypress Inn in the hopes she'd be there. but no.....

well alex you certainly know how I feel about her. She has been my favorite everything since I was 9 years old. I wish I had those great big scrapbooks that I made of her when I was a kid. I stupidly threw them away when I left home at 18. I also had a signed photo of her, but sold it. Never met her either.

yes Ira. we've always agreed on her.

what I like abt this new activity on her part is that it slams those awful tabloid reports of her having become a bag lady or abt to die. yes she deserves whatever privacy she wants at this stage of life but she's obviously a woman who still loves living & has her marbles.
