Was yr sitemeter code stopping it. It also affected yr blog because it's included in the downloading code. Check out this post & it might help explain the problem.
But I was glad I had Firefox loaded as well as IE. It still annoyed the shit out of me, but at least I had an option.

I've been telling you for some time to use mozilla firefox. I only use explorer as a backup.
had Mozilla on the old machine & never used it. however I just download'd it & here I am.
