I am so glad to hear that she'll be able to get out there with physical punishment and has just 10 days or less to put up with the pathetic jerks.
I hope the Brits step in and hurry back to safety and England quickly as possible, or her church does, or whatever. Anyway, I just hope that she gets back to safety as soon as possible.
It's a maddening freaking world. One day I'm going to stand up to a lot more of it than I've been able to the last few years.
(Even if "standing up to it" means getting so far away from it that it can't harm me anymore...)
On a cheerier note, we have great fortune, incredible fortune, being alive, well, here, and among friends, and enough culture/history to know that this crap has been going on for ages, and we can still live and let live.
