Alex, I didn't know this about O'Hara. Your post sent me on a search, and I found this excerpt from Brad Gooch's biography of O'Hara.

I first saw James Dean on Channel 43 in Cleveland sometime in the early 1980s when they used to show movies in the evening. They must have had a James Dean week or at least showed "Rebel Without a Cause," which is the movie I remember watching.
