I recently tried to explain who Sophie Tucker was & what Burlesque was to a 22 year old. I even did a Sophie Tucker joke. They were noplussed & not impressed.I enjoy your blog & I like your work (plus you are a handsome man).
thx for the kind words.perhaps the young can get to Miss Tucker via Bette Midler. altho to a 22 y/o I suspect even the Divine One is a relic.
